I probably need to start a second Substack like I need another hole in my head, but I have a good reason for it.
This original Substack exists because I want to write about music and pop culture. But it’s a new day and I need a second space for things that don’t cover those topics.
Last October, my brother from another mother, Tim “Napalm” Stegall, wrote a rare political post where he endorsed Kamala Harris for president. And a few of his followers gave him shit for it. Obviously, such shit was all unjustified. Like everyone else, Tim is entitled to both hold his own opinion and to share it with the world.
I have my own particular opinions and some of them don’t belong in a space where I would rather write about Rosé’s solo album (for an example I’ve been meaning to do for a couple of weeks).
That is why I started a political blog, 1461 Days Of Resistance.
That number is the number of days in a typical four-year Presidential term, counting when a Leap Year happens.
And that Substack is where I’ll be sharing my opinions and analysis on the current Presidential administation.
If you’re already a supporter of that particular President, or you just don’t care about politics, no one is twisting your arm to read or support my work there.
But if you’re like me, 1461 Days Of Resistance is where you can read my political views and such without trepidation. And I encourage your support there.
That’s basically the deal. This musical Substack isn’t going anywhere. I’m just being more organized and putting things where they belong.
